Stripes for fall

Stripes are too versatile and all-around chic to just wear when it’s warm out, and I’m fond of the fall iterations I dug up for you. For starters, I adore this jacket: it’s a really convenient weight, and has a weirdly streamlined hippie girl vibe.

Everything about this skirt is kind of unexpected, in the best possible way.

This is pricey for a tee, but the ikat/stripe print is divine.

I like the nice, slouchy fit of this sweater.

I tried this sweater on but didn’t buy it (only because I’m trying to be fiscally responsible) and very much like its very loosely-knit fabrication, which gives it a very relaxed feel.

Just kind of poppy and fun.

I had a Kookai sweater just like this in the 90s, and it reminds me of that decade, nicely.

I am crazy for the color combination here.

Me too, but it looks more preppy than hippie to me. FYI, I’ve had to size up when ordering pants and skirts from & Other Stories. I don’t know if that’s true for tops too.

The hippie jacket also has that surfer dude look. SO cute!
We had a sweater that looked just like the Kookai/Ganni at the store in which I work, but it sold out. It was adorable on skinnies!

The first jacket just strikes me as kinda Beatle-y – Ringo in the animated Yellow Submarine version. The swingy style and bell sleeve with the stripe. I hope the model is wearing chelsea boots 🙂
