That Sears catalog was hilarious. I had that see through phone until a fight with my high school boyfriend led to me smashing it in a teenage fit!
Memories of high-waist acidwash jeans with a really bad permed mullet. (Actually, is there any other kind???).
I love Wes Anderson movies! They make me happy, in a French style goofy comedy kind of way.
I am laugh-crying over some of the stuff in that Sears catalog! For some reason it’s triggering whatever lobe of my brain it is that houses my inner 12-year-old (even though I was 18 in 1990).
DeDe…are you old enough to be reading this blog?
Well, I’m old enough to remember watching Elvis on TV (bloated, bedazzled Elvis, but still!) and feeling dejected when the ERA didn’t pass (damn you, Phyllis Schlafly!), so I think I qualify! 😉 Happy holidays to you, Dana!
