I am totally one of those annoying people who pays no attention to soccer until the World Cup rolls around every four years—something that, in fairness, is hard not to do in New York anymore, what with all the bars and restaurants broadcasting games and what seems like half the city playing hooky from work to watch.  And because I am me and if there’s a superficial fashion angle to take I will, I bring you these limited-edition tees from Elizabeth and James.

I have to get this, no?

My limited knowledge includes the information that Team USA will likely not go all the way, but this is still rather cute.

I don’t think it’s annoying, it’s like the Olympics right? And if you watched the USA v Ghana game yesterday, you know there’s a glimmer of hope for us!

    So get a shirt!

  2. I’m pleased to see a Korea tee. If they beat Russia and advance, I see this tee in my near future.

They’re cute. But $96 cute? Yikes.

You left out the Netherlands one. I hope it will be delivered here in time for tomorrow’s match. Oranje!

Today I saw a super-tall modelly looking girl wearing tight capri jeans, those Valentino studded double-t-strappy high heels in beige, and a screaming yellow and green polyester Brasil jersey.

I have an official French national team jersey that I wear during every match I watch!!
